Yes, as does the iPhone. Something That Has Been Bothering Metag:tunerds.com,2008-07-11:/chyrp/id/210//comment_742008-07-11T13:10:44-04:002008-07-11T13:10:44-04:00Timhttp://timmer.tumblr.com
We could recourse to a data game, but let me ask you this.
Do you think Blackberry has the cachet of being 'cool'? Something That Has Been Bothering Metag:tunerds.com,2008-07-11:/chyrp/id/210//comment_732008-07-11T10:51:38-04:002008-07-11T10:51:38-04:00Rizhttp://tunerds.com/chyrp
Well, first that assertion that BlackBerry Devices are for Dads is a little to tight of a constraint considering how many people you and I alone know that are our age and have a BlackBerry.
Next, BlackBerry customers don't strike me as being particularly stupid. They probably they're getting screwed... which is even more obvious with the release of the iPhone. The comparability of prices vs value between the BB plans and the iPhone plans makes it pretty obvious that BIS and (especially) BES customers are getting hosed. Blackberrys are for Dads.
Rogers knows this and is happy to tailor the marketing and offering as such. According to an article in Macleans Canadians (relative to Americans)...tag:tunerds.com,2008-06-28:/chyrp/id/196//comment_702008-06-28T09:03:13-04:002008-06-28T09:03:13-04:00Timhttp://timmer.tumblr.com
awesome- although you did miss the one about longevity. I'm extrapolating this to suggest that we Canadians can last 2 minutes longer! 1000 Awesome Thingstag:tunerds.com,2008-06-26:/chyrp/id/192//comment_692008-06-26T18:03:38-04:002008-06-26T18:03:38-04:00Neilhttp://www.1000awesomethings.com
Hey Riz,
Thanks for linking to my blog. You're nice, pal. Let me know if you want me to set up a link to your blog or anything -- I'm totally terrible at all things interweb, but gonna try to create a "friends" link on the side or something.
Can I ask you a nerdy question too? On the blog stuffwhitepeoplelike.com, that guy's got a way better comments section, where the comments are all backwards reading (i.e., newest first) and replies are wedged right in there and everything.
Do you know how I do that or is it super complicated?
Neil

You're right. Also, this text box thing doesn't handle line-breaks very well. I formatted the above very nicely, and it all gets jammed into one paragraph. Do I have to manually put < br > tags into everything? A few thoughts.
1. Conservatives are usually douches anyway. Does it surprise you that Jim Prentice is a douche? Jim Prentice is a Conservative; ergo, he is a douche.
2. He tried to pass common scenarios off as "arcane" and "out of the ordinary" -- yet those things sound like pretty run-of-the-mill situations. If your Bill doesn't handle regular stuff easily, it's a shitty Bill, and it shouldn't even be tabled.
3. If "the market" will take care of things... why not let "the market" take care of stuff like, well, everything this Bill is trying to do? It's funny how free-market folks will let *some* things be guided by The Invisible Hand, but in other cases are all too happy to intervene (on behalf of corporate interests, natch).
4. Do the Liberals have the stones to stand up to the Conservatives on this? Because if they don't, this thing is gonna pass, no matter how much of a stink Jack Layton puts up. (Knowing the Conservatives, they made this one a Confidence motion, like every other goddamn thing they've foisted on the House in the past year.) I'm watching pulp fiction. It was a lazy job done by Tim. No photoshop, just put the 2 windows on teh screen and took a screenshot. One window was cut off more than the other, that's all.
